Domestic 4 Jesus

With our increased involvement in Mamelodi we were confronted with more of the hard realities of the poor and needy (not to far from our doorsteps). One of the cases closest to our hearts was the ladies from the local churches without any food, income, work, and the worst of all, a purpose.

This frustration lead to prayer and a vision was born to help these poor ladies. We believe that God has a purpose for all His children (2 Cor 5:18), and in our purpose lies His provision for us (Matt 6:33). With this as the core believe for our project the following project will be launched:

To send unemployed ladies on specific domestic courses to enhance their skills according to the needs of the domestic worker market. This will drastically improve their chances of getting employed and will improve the quality and efficiency of their work. After their training we will assist them in trying to find work for them, and to stand in faith with them for work.

Secondly these ladies will be discipled regularly a) so that they will understand that it was God who provided for them, and b) that God wants to use them where He has placed them. They can be the salt and light to their employers, and strategically pray for the families on a daily basis. c) They will also be trained to make disciples in their own community by reaching out and caring for others who do not have work.

A pilot project is underway with two unemployed ladies, one of which can only speak Portuguese and two African languages. God is faithful and has already blessed us with numerous miracles in the project. Angelina, the Portuguese lady was employed only a week after she finished her training. We also came across a wonderful training company, Educare Pta East. The owner is also very compassionate towards the workless ladies and went out of her way to facilitate the training of the ladies.

We believe this project will supply not only food and money, but a purpose, and a sense of belonging and of partaking in Gods kingdom.

Our next aim is to send 15 ladies on the next project. The date of the training is 17, 18, and 20 May 2011 and the cost per lady including transportation works out to R709.50. The total cost of the project for the 15 ladies will be R10, 642.50 Will you please pray about if you should sow towards this project.  We believe that God will bless you for helping His poor and needy children. He is faithful to supply seed to the sower.
